Produced primarily for petrol station counters, roadside kiosks, and car care displays, this specialized release repurposed the familiar 1/60 scale Beetle casting into a dual-purpose keychain and hanging car air freshener.
Underneath the metal bodywork, Majorette replaced the standard cabin layout with a scented fragrance pellet that gently diffused its aroma through the casting’s cut-out windows and open sunroof. The rear chassis omitted the classic toy tow hook in favor of a sturdy metal key ring and chain assembly, allowing motorists to attach ignition keys or suspend the miniature from their rearview mirror.
